Two events Sparring and Grappling events are $30.00 each or both for $50.00

Spectator fee $4.00

Registration from 7:30 - 9:30 am

Tournament starts at 10:00 am

RULES

SPARRING RULES-  Continous action

1 pouint for a kick or punch to the head

1 point take down with both feet remaining on the mat

2 points take down half throw one foot remains on the mat

3 points full throw both feet off the mat

2-2 min. rounds 30 seconds between rounds 1 min overtime or until tie is broken

Submission , Tap out Wins regardless of points scored

No Strikes or Kicks below the belt no strikes to the neck or spine no

puching or kicking on the ground no finger or nerve techniques

warning and or disqualification may result from Illegal techniques.

CONTACT- Light to the Head , Medium to the Body

excessive or deliberate hard contact will result in 1st warning,  2nd point adjustment 3rd disqualification.

GRAPPLING RULES-

1 point throw both feet on mat

2 points half throw one foot on mat

3 points full throw both feet off mat

3 points control of match

Submission- Ends Match otherwise match will run one 5 min. round

Mouthpiece and groin protection recommended

NO HANDS TO THE FACE , NO BITING, NO STRIKES OR KICKS, NO WRESTLING SHOES, NO SPEEDOS, MUST WEAR FULL GI (NOT SLEEVELESS GI'S)

BODY SLAMS FROM GUARD SHOULD BE NO HIGHER THAN KNEE LEVEL, RUNNING OUT OF BOUNDS WILL RESULT IN A WARNING 3RD WARNING WILL RESULT IN 3 POINT ADJUSTMENT

REFEREE CAN STOP MATCH AND AWARD WINNER AT HIS DISCRETION

General Rules- UNSPORTSMAN LIKE CONDUCT WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION

ALL FIGHTERS MUST WEAR GI WITH SLEEVES

HAND FOOT MOUTH AND GROIN PROTECTION REQUIRED

GRAPPLING GLOVES ARE ALLOWED HEADGEAR IS OPTIONAL

ONLY ONE SESEI OR COACH ALLOWED IN COMPETITION AREA

 ALL OTHERS MUST BE OUTSIDE BARRIERS OR IN THE BLEACHERS

DIRECTIONS From I-85 go toward High Point this is south from Greensboro or North from Charlotte, Salisbury, Lexington, take exit 111 this is the HIGH POINT HWY 311 EXIT TURN TOWARDS ARCHDALE

THIS IS RIGHT FROM NORTH BOUND 85 AND LEFT FROM SOUTHBOUND 85 GO DOWN HWY 311 CREEKSIDE PARK WILL BE ON THE LEFT
